Frank Perrelli

Frank Perrelli, owner and hairstylist, has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1992.

Frank's career began by working for Pivot Point beauty school. After working for several hair salons, he decided to open his first hair salon in Elmwood Park. In addition he worked for Indola hair Products Company as a national platform artist and their hair color hotline specialist. 

Frank and his wife Kirsten opened Ginger Root Hair Salon in 1999. His continued dedication to bring beauty and style to historic downtown St. Charles is what keeps him on the cutting edge.

Kirsten

Kirsten has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1991. She has dedicated her years in the business to making sure her clients like what they see in the mirror, with the ability to duplicate the look at home.

Not only can Kirsten provide you with all your hair care needs, she specializes in facial waxing, eyelash perming and tinting, and makeup. Kirsten has extensive, advanced coloring training, certification in thermal hair straightening, and is a certified hair extension specialist. This gives her the ability to dramatically customize your look in whatever way is needed.

Dana

Dana has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1995.

With her extensive knowledge and background, she can provide you with your full hair care and skin care needs which includes: facials, facial waxing, and makeup. Dana is energetic and vivacious and is sure to pull out your inner diva.

Dusty

Dusty has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1999.

Along with your hair care needs, she can also provide specialty services including facial waxing and makeup. With Dusty's easy going nature, she can expertly refresh your current style or give you a brand new look.

Laura

Laura specializes in everything from cutting edge cuts and consistent color to fabulous formal styles. Her extensive background leaves her confident to provide each client with personalized perfection. From fashion rock shows to bridal expos Laura's outgoing and versatile style can cater to your individual needs.

Mimma

Mimma has been doing hair for over 17 years, and her expertise is evident in all of her work. She has the knowledge and creative vision to work with all sorts of hair, treating guests to expert haircuts and colors. Mimma also specializes in waxing and anti-curl treatments, including permanent straightening.

Christie

Christie has been a stylist for over 3 years and has been with Ginger Root Hair Salon for 7 years!

She has had extensive training in color, makeup, waxing and special occasion hair. She is frequently attending classes to further her knowledge and training. Christie truly enjoys working with brides, helping them feel their most beautiful on their special day. Christie has a passion for your eyebrows and believes brow shaping is a true art form. She also loves helping her clients feel confident and sexy with their color and haircut!
